No sign of the XR yet, although there've been heaps of supportive e-mails, calls and even one visit.
Someone a whole lot smarter than me wondered if my mentioning on here the bike was running well and ready to go was such a good idea. If it is someone who follows this blog, I hope he's reading this. Here's a personal message: "I haven't stopped looking, scumbag. If you try and ride it, or sell it for parts, I'll find you. Are you finding it hard to start, you little weasel? And is it pinging and knocking a little? Just try and get someone to look at it. I dare you."
That's pretty much consumed my week. I've done letterbox drops and put up posters in all the bike shops. I've even put up posters on the trees along the trails around the local riding areas.
The only other big news this week is I've cancelled Coast To Corner for this year. I hope to have something sorted for the ride to still go ahead, but it won't be on March 29. There's too much planning to do, and I don't want to offer TBAM's readers a poorly planned and executed ride.
As soon as I have something concrete, I'll let eveyone know.
Sorry, but I'm still a little too angry to write much this week.
