Proving that both he and his new KX450F are more than ready to take on the world’s best in Anaheim at the opening round of the AMA SX in early January, Chad has gone from strength to strength throughout the SuperX series displaying virtually flawless rides at the final few rounds.
Throughout the three x 5 lap motos at the seventh and final round in Brisbane, Chad was never seriously threatened by the field of high quality Australian and American riders, taking the three race wins.
On a wet and slippery Brisbane track, Chad took an early lead in the first moto and never looked back, taking the race win. Proving that he has found an optimum set-up on the new KX450F, Chad then took the holeshot in the second moto on his way to another win. The final race was much of the same again with Chad finding the lead on the first lap and extending the gap all the way to the chequered flag.
Heading into the final round with the points lead, Chad’s 1-1-1 results in Brisbane were more than enough to hand the Kawasaki rider the Championship.
With his form looking to be the best it’s ever been and the Kawasaki KX450F dialled in and ready to go, Chad will be a serious threat when the gates drop at the first round of the American Supercross Championship at Anaheim, USA on 9 January 2010.
