Steve Crombie doesn't mind roughing it in the Aussie Outback, or anywhere for that matter!
Epic motorbike Adventurer Steve Crombie is nearing the end of a 20,000km overland journey from Singapore to Sydney by the seat of his pants. Now on the final leg, he is riding a custom built Yamaha WR250R on a solo 8,000kms offroad adventure from Darwin to Sydney.

Packed and ready to roll!
Dodging crocs and waist high rivers he is the first person this year to make it out to Limmen camp on the Gulf of Carpentaria and has since continued south offroad to Alice Springs. Due to flooding, the Simpson has become impassable -- now he will carve solo across the north west edge of the Simpson Desert and navigate his way across to the Strzlecki Desert and around the flooding Lake Eyre to Sturt National Park.

The bare essentials
From here he will continue down to down to Wilcannia and onto Ivanhoe before tackling the railway tracks east back towards Sydney on the 13th of June. You can follow his journey here.

The lonely adventurer

Since then he has travelled by land and on more than 20 different typess of transport across Sumatra, Java, Bali, Lombok, Sumbawa and Sumba before getting Dengue Fever and ending up in Darwin Hospital. Now he is on the final leg home.
