Pelican i1015 i-Phone case
We’re in love with our i-Phone, but it’s a bit of a worry chucking it in a pack or pocket and heading out into the elements. We wouldn’t want anything to happen to it!
Now Pelican cases has put our minds at rest with a clear plastic case that offers famous Pelican protection.
Designed for the i-Phone and the i-Pod Touch, the i1015 will also take less sexy devices like the Blackberry and the Nokia G1. An external headphone jack means you can leave the phone safe and sound inside the case and still bust a few tunes as you ride along, and the unit’s even supplied with a carabiner so’s you can attach it to something. It’s crushproof and water resistant, and comes with a lifetime guarantee.
It’s a little bulky if you’re used to the i-Phone on its own, but the size is a reasonable trade-off for this level of protection, we reckon.

StegPegz

We first saw these things a little while ago, and we admit we were a little sceptical. But since then we’ve seen more and more riders using them, including some big names, and some riders we really respect are giving them a big rave-up. Glenn Kearney and Ben Grabham are the two latest.
The Idea of the Stegpegz is to help reduce arm-pump and fatigue by giving the rider something to grip on to at the leg/calf area. We’re all taught to grip with our knees, but it’s sometimes frigging difficult. The Stegpegz make it much easier to hold your body from sliding back while standing under acceleration.
They’re small and unobstrusive, but make a big difference.
Stegpegz are available for most late-model enduro and motocross models from about 2007 onwards, and for earlier models you can email Steve and see what he can do.
A great Aussie product!

Motorbikin’ 3
The latest Phil Hodgens/Marc Smith DVD is another classic, well worthy of the Motorbikin’ title. All Aussie bike adventures with an all-Aussie crew, it includes the same mix of great riding, cock-ups and humour we saw in the first two, but the guys have taken some big leaps in production and editing.
It’s a ball-tearer, and it runs a whopping three hours!

Honda Enduro jacket
This is something we’re going to see a lot of in the near future.
Honda’s new Enduro jacket has a lot of great features, but the one that will attract the most attention is that it’s made to accommodate a neck brace.
A yoke or collar means the jacket can be properly zipped up and secured with or without a brace, and the jacket’s made to fit with both the AlpineStars Bionic and the Leatt braces.
Good stuff!
Other features include removeable sleeves, adjustable wrist closures, mesh lining, venting and a rear pocket to take the sleeves.
There’s a couple of additional waterproof pockets scattered about the place, and the whole thing’s made of rugged 600 denier nylon.

Andy Strapz Expansion Pakz
After the success of the 30-litre A Bagz and 18-litre AA Bagz, Andy decided to look for a way of adding to capacity without taking away convenience. Expansion Pakz fit beneath A and AA Bagz with exactly the same footprint. The retaining straps of the Bagz slip through loops on the Expansion Pak both front and back to hold them securely in place. “A neat and beautifully simple solution,” says Andy.
The A Bagz Expansion Pakz have an estimated capacity of 10 litres and the AA Bagz Expansion Pakz hold around 6.5 litres. Stiffeners are sewn in along the base inside webbing strips, just like A Bagz. They also have a zipper on each end and, best of all, are made in Australia.
Available in black Cordura.
